Why I Decided to Make a Blog

Here is my first official WELCOME to you all and thank you for visiting my blog!

I’ve been wanting to make a blog for a very long time, but I never knew how to officially start it (or if I had the time to do so). I have been keeping active with my Forever Prepster Instagram and Twitter accounts, but now I thought it was time to finally break out the “big guns” and start my real blog!

Some people have asked me why I chose now to start my blog, or even start it in the first place. Sophomore year in college has given me a lot of time to reflect on my life and my decisions. Just a little background info: my first year of college was a rough transition period. I felt like I wasn’t fitting in, making the right friends, or just making positive decisions in general.

Then, in about April of last year, I found self love and everything changed. I was really starting to reflect on my life and how I could better myself to make me who I wanted to be.

After talking to new friends at school, I realized I was not alone. People who had the same difficulties as me were trying to find was to help their situations, but struggling.

THUS, FOREVER PREPSTER WAS BORN!

I realized that it was a great outlet to write my feelings and experiences down in words instead of blank thoughts wondering in my head. So,through this blog, I hope to reach out to everyone who wants to read my posts and help ANYONE who needs it.

Y’all are probably wondering “who is this girl anyway” and “why does she want to write about her life”; so here’s a little background info on me!

I’m Jenna (but my friends call me Jeb), I’m from Connecticut but I feel as though my second home is in North Carolina! I go to school in Baltimore at Loyola University Maryland. I’m a history major with a poli sci and education double minor (yes, I know that's a mouthful!). Since, I’m a history geek, don’t judge my history memes when they pop up! You’re going to see talk about my shih tzu named Penelope (I shih tzu not.!…yes I also love corny puns.) I’ve been dancing for 18 years of my life so it’s pretty much my whole world. On campus I’m a tour guide so I LOVE TO TALK! This past summer, I studied abroad for a month in France and it was the first time I was out of the country ever! I loved it so much that I will be studying in Berlin, Germany for 4 months this fall (EEEP!)… Of course there are probably a lot of things I forgot about myself but I know you will all find out someway or another in time; but there’s a crash course on my life!
